The High Priest of Knowledge was a title.
When the First Doctor and his companions visited the Aztecs in the 15th century Mexico, Autloc was the High Priest of Knowledge. When Autloc left for the wilderness after helping Barbara escape, Tlotoxl offered Tonila the position. (TV: The Aztecs)
