Janus was the name of a creature that lived on Ganesh and stole faces from the people. He was worshiped as the god Ganesh by some of the people, including a little girl whom Bernice Summerfield met on the planet. (PROSE: Kill the Mouse!)
Behind the scenes
Janus and her powers are similar to those of members of the Pageant from O'Mahoney's novel The Man in the Velvet Mask.
