The child of Lofty was a baby in a Viking village. She spoke Baby, and the Twelfth Doctor was able to understand her cries. Her description of a barrelful of electric eels - "fire in the water" - inspired the Doctor's plan to defeat the Mire. (TV: The Girl Who Died)
