Maisie Williams (born 15 April 1997[1]) is an English actor who played Ashildr (a.k.a. Me) in the Doctor Who television stories The Girl Who Died, The Woman Who Lived, Face the Raven and Hell Bent.

She is best known for her role as Arya Stark in the HBO TV series Game of Thrones.

During the production of her episodes, Williams recorded several impromptu interviews and behind-the-scenes candid footage on her smartphone camera, which were later uploaded by the BBC under the title #maisiecam. Several of these (though not all) were included in the Complete Series Nine DVD/Blu-ray set as part of the Sublime Online package.

According to comments made by her in the Doctor Who Extra instalment devoted to Face the Raven, at the time she filmed The Girl Who Died and The Woman Who Lived, Williams was not aware that she was going to be asked back to reprise Ashildr/Me a few months later for Face the Raven and Hell Bent.
