Maybe I've missed something, but where does the name Throxillian actually come from? The humanoids are unnamed in the official Big Finish description, and from what I can recall (having listened to the audio twice, albeit some time ago, I'll admit) they're never named in the story itself. So to reiterate, where does this name actually come from? Nobler Crisp ☎ 09:54, March 10, 2019 (UTC)

:Unfortunately, the user who added that information hasn't been here in a while, and this (unsourced) info has been on the page for 7 years. Source for name?edit source

Nobler Crisp 09:54, March 10, 2019 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the user who added that information hasn't been here in a while, and this (unsourced) info has been on the page for 7 years. If you are familiar with the story, could you give some more specifics here so we can figure out what to do with the page? Thanks Shambala108 15:55, March 10, 2019 (UTC)
I can only think of one potential point in the story off the top of my head where there might possibly be a mention, so I'll check that point and get back to you once I have an answer. If that fails, I'll try and give the entire story a re-listen with a view to this specific issue. Nobler Crisp 03:57, March 11, 2019 (UTC)

I happen to have a transcript of the story lying around. From the first few minutes:

CHARLEY: How are we spelling Cimmerian? S I
DOCTOR: C I M M E R I A N.
CHARLEY: C I M M E R I A N. Cimmerian. Of darkness. Of the Cimmeriae, a people fabled by the ancients to live in perpetual darkness.
DOCTOR: It was named the Cimmerian system by Throxilian explorers after the sun apparently vanished. I've taken us back to a time when the star was still there, and now we're drifting forwards.

If only every audio story spelled out its species and place names so explicitly ... – N8 14:52, March 11, 2019 (UTC)

Didn't get around to seeing this till now, thank you for clarifying. Don't know how on Earth I missed that but hey there we are. Nobler Crisp 08:21, March 17, 2019 (UTC)
