In 6087, (AUDIO: Wirrn Isle) Earth was devastated by solar flares. The human inhabitants placed themselves in suspended animation on board the Nerva Beacon so they could awaken when the planet became inhabitable again. However, due to sabotage by the Wirrn, they did not wake until ten thousand years later. (TV: The Ark in Space)
