Bastian was an actor hired to play the warrior Tumat in commercial links for The Freedom Thoughtcasting Network as part of its cashing in of their endless battle, alongside Fortunio as Kraytos. After Ryan and Graham were locked in their changing room by Sandola Dell, Graham used the power of his Tumat outfit to break out and rescue the Thirteenth Doctor, and later lure Kraytos into part of a plan crated by the Doctor.
