Brian Williams was Defence Secretary in 2014. In a time of austerity, he recognised that cost of Paul Reynish's medication was draining the Ministry of Defence and arranged for his execution, with Patsy Haggard selecting P.R.o.B.e. to carry out the job. Reynish fled after meeting his brother Charlie, whom he was told was dead, and later took Williams' wife Josie hostage. She was saved thanks to Liz Shaw.
