With David J Howe, Sam Stone was the script editor of White Witch of Devil's End. She also wrote its first episode, The Inheritance. For the short story anthology, Olive Hawthorne and the Dæmons of Devil's End which adapted White Witch she wrote Prologue, The Inheritance, and Epilogue. Additionally, she was the overall editor of the anthology.
