Prelude All-Consuming Fire was, as the name suggested, a prelude to All-Consuming Fire by Andy Lane. It did not appear in the published novel.

Summary

Arthur Conan Doyle writes about John Watson's adventure with the Doctor, but Watson objects to a scene in which James Moriarty kills a former employee. When Doyle mentions his adventures with "his" Doctor, Watson asks to hear about it, but Doyle shivers and says, "Perhaps another time."
