Marshal Summerfield V was the final Summerfield to be director of Caprisi Military Academy.

Marshal V was born in 2318. His father Marshal Summerfield IV gave Marshal V his position as director of Caprisi Military Academy.

In 2344, he had his only child, Cathal Summerfield (whose name given at birth was Cathy).

In 2360, on their sixteenth birthday, Cathal announced that they were an androgyne and expressed their desire to transition. This disappointed Marshal and in 2362 he reportedly died "of a broken heart".

Records of Marshal were kept until the 26th century. Christine Summerfield learned about Marshal when she read the Summerfield family tree. (PROSE: Dead Romance)
