Tarzan was a fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and the protagonist of the novel Tarzan of the Apes. (PROSE: Eater of Wasps)

While celebrating Christmas with George Smythe and his family in 2004, the First Doctor, Barbara, Ian and Vicki were told the joke, "What's yellow and swings through the jungle?", the answer being "Tarzipan" (a combination of Tarzan and marzipan).
