An air car was a type of vehicle used by many species. They were generally similar to a standard car, but with flight capability.
Air cars were in use on Zanak, as well as on Gallifrey, where Romana I was given one for her seventieth birthday. (TV: The Pirate Planet) Air cars were also used by the Ice Warriors. (COMIC: Descendance)
