What to do when blocked
Please, take time to acquaint yourself with Help:I'm blocked, which explains what you should do when you are blocked. Please note that deviations from this prescribed behaviour can result in the block being extended instead of lifted. Further, you are banned from chat because you are blocked from participating in the wiki. Since your behaviour was confrontational and non-constructive, you are prevented from any further actions, other than editing your own talk page. That includes chatting with other users. As a matter of course, a user who engages in an edit war is prohibited from harassing other users using chat or their talk pages. The only reason your talk page remains available to you is as a courtesy on behalf of the blocking admin, to allow you a simpler method to communicate with him. This channel of communication can also be blocked in case of further disruptive behaviour. I strongly suggest that you use the block time to consider whether insisting that you are right and all the other editors over the past 15 years of this wiki's existence have been wrong is wise behaviour. Similarly, you might think whether throwing a tantrum because of a lack of response to your messages made your position stronger or weaker. As explained in our vandalism policy, "it is absolutely an act of vandalism to edit or delete someone else's comments on "your" talk page". That goes double when the deleted comments are instructions from an admin. As explained in Tardis:Blocking policy, "inappropriate behavior whilst already blocked" warrants a separate block. As the admin whose instructions were removed, I am now administering this block, which will naturally be for a longer time than the initial block. Since the vandalism while blocked occurred on your talk page, your access to it will be denied for the duration of the second block. Welcome to the Tardis:About JustWilhelm

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:
~ ~ ~ ~

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. Shambala108 09:23, April 26, 2019 (UTC)

Edit warringedit source

Hi there. I have seen your edit war with other users at List of Doctor Who television stories and have placed a three day ban on your account. Edit warring is not tolerated on this wiki. If you think a change should be made on the page, then please discuss this change with the user who opposes your edits. Thanks. --Revan\Talk 11:36, June 16, 2019 (UTC)

I have tried to discuss the change, but nobody was interested in using the talk page until very recently - even then, their comments were not relevant to the changes being made. I would also like to see a definition of edit warring. I tried to reach out to you, but for some reason I have been banned from chat for "violating chat policy", despite the fact that I have not violated any chat policy. I request that this false chat ban be lifted immediately. If you hadn't have posted a comment here, I would not have been able to contact anyone. JustWilhelm 11:59, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
Please read Tardis:Edit wars are good for absolutely nothing. You will not be able to edit talk pages during the period of your block. When the block has been lifted (in three days), you will be able to discuss the changes to the page with other users. Please take this time to calm down and take a diplomatic attitude towards your edits in future. Thank you. --Revan\Talk 12:35, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
I am perfectly calm. I resent that you are implying otherwise. You have neglected to comment on my chat ban, which I am still at a loss about. JustWilhelm 12:38, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
Chat ban is not false. Edit warring is editing back and forth on a single page (re-inserting an edit that is continuously changed). There have been given very clear responses from 3 admins. As I am not an admin myself I have no authority to overrule any admin-action, but I can suggest to you that you abide by the rules stuck out by the Wikia's admins to not add insult to injury. The edit was reverted because The Five Doctors is neither a part of Season 20 nor 21, but a standalone story created purely for the the charity Children in Need for the 20th anniversary. For the talk page issue, yes it is very frustrating that it is not very active, but in that case you continue to ask, not take matters into your own hands. Kind regards. --DCLM 12:46, June 16, 2019 (UTC)

Please note that the messages on your talk page are designed to help you better understand the policies here at Tardis. Thank you. --Revan\Talk 12:50, June 16, 2019 (UTC)

The chat ban is from live chat, not editing. "You were banned from chat by $1" (the account $1 does not exist), yet I have not violated any chat policy. Therefore, the chat ban is not valid. I dispute the notion that The Five Doctors is not part of Season 20. If nobody uses the talk page, and admins refuse to provide an alternative method for discussion, I have every right to make whatever edits I please in the context of that issue. JustWilhelm 12:57, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
Idk about any chat, but the banning is valid for continuously edit warring. Dispute it however you want, but those are the facts. Sorry to say.
No, you are not permitted to edit however you like, just because an admin or another user hasn't responded. You either drop the issue or continue asking until answer is provided. If you continue the action, you will be looked upon as a vandal only causing trouble. I am helping you not being viewed as such by admins. --DCLM 13:04, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
We're only trying to help you. --DCLM 13:20, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
I appreciate that. It still doesn't help that most of the admins reverting my edits were being completely useless and uncooperative when it came to opening a dialogue. I would like my unexplained chat ban (not edit ban) seen to, however. JustWilhelm 15:39, June 16, 2019 (UTC)

What to do when blockededit source

Amorkuz 20:58, June 16, 2019 (UTC)

"Similarly, you might think whether throwing a tantrum because of a lack of response to your messages made your position stronger or weaker." Is this a personal attack? Can you point me to where I have "thrown a tantrum", or are you going to continue to be so nonconstructive? JustWilhelm 21:34, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
Note that I am perfectly happy to wait until the block is lifted. JustWilhelm 21:38, June 16, 2019 (UTC)

Block for vandalism while already blockededit source

As explained in our vandalism policy, "it is absolutely an act of vandalism to edit or delete someone else's comments on "your" talk page". That goes double when the deleted comments are instructions from an admin. As explained in Tardis:Blocking policy, "inappropriate behavior whilst already blocked" warrants a separate block. As the admin whose instructions were removed, I am now administering this block, which will naturally be for a longer time than the initial block. Since the vandalism while blocked occurred on your talk page, your access to it will be denied for the duration of the second block. Amorkuz 12:13, June 18, 2019 (UTC)
