Teti was a son of Amenhotep II and brother to Thutmose IV, Mentu, and Erimem. (PROSE: The Last Pharaoh)

After some time away from his father's palace, Teti returned around the time of Thutmose's murder. Shortly after he came down with fever. (PROSE: The Coming of the Queen)

He died prematurely when a handmaiden poisoned him. (PROSE: The Girl with the Glass Face)
