Colin Colchester-Price (né Price) was the husband of St John Colchester.

Biography

Early life

Colin Price was from Leeds. He was a Muslim and thus did not drink alcohol. (AUDIO: A Kill to a View) He enjoyed shopping (AUDIO: Changes Everything) and had nine years of piano lessons. (AUDIO: Escape Room)

In the 2000s or earlier, (AUDIO: Orr) Colin entered into a relationship with St John Colchester, who he later married on a beach in the rain. (AUDIO: Future Pain) His mother disapproved of the relationship (AUDIO: Aliens & Sex & Chips & Gravy) and did not attend their wedding. (AUDIO: Future Pain) Colin's cousin once sent Colchester a scented candle. (AUDIO: Night Watch)

The couple lived together in Colchester's hometown of Hove, where Colin was comfortable. However, Colchester's work often kept them apart, meaning that Colin sometimes had to go on holiday on his own. (AUDIO: Future Pain)

Life in Cardiff

Colchester was assigned to Torchwood Three, necessitating a move to Cardiff. Although Colchester wanted Colin to remain in Hove, Colin insisted on moving with him. (AUDIO: Future Pain) They were set up on the twenty-second floor of Ritz Tower at 11 Richmond Street, in number 151. Colin frequently refused to leave the building because of the spike in hate crimes. Sandra and Andrea tried to kill the Colchesters in order to get their flat, but Colchester killed both of them, his anger allowing Bilis Manger to open the Rift and send a message (AUDIO: A Kill to a View) to God. (AUDIO: Future Pain)

After Colchester's death, Colin attended his funeral and fought a plasmamorph with Tyler Steele. He later went to the Hub with Yvonne Hartman, who showed him his husband's last message on the Torchwood computer. After Yvonne left, he also watched hers. In Colin's presence, Orr transformed into Jack Harkness. (AUDIO: Future Pain)

When Cardiff went blind, Colin called Jack and gathered people at St Martin's. Colin later kissed Jack, whereupon Colchester appeared and caught the two. (AUDIO: See No Evil) Colin and Jack both believed that he was a ghost, there so that Colin could say goodbye to him. The Night Sun put Colin to sleep and, after he woke up, he and Colchester kissed, (AUDIO: Night Watch) proving that Colchester was real and alive. (AUDIO: Flight 405) Whilst Colchester liked to think that he had been brought back by Colin, he in fact had been by Tyler Steele's prayer to God. (AUDIO: Thoughts and Prayers)

On Colin's birthday, St John and Jack had their bodies swapped as part of God's test for Ng. Colin was kept in the dark about this so as not to ruin the celebration. (AUDIO: Another Man's Shoes)

Following the Cardiff tsunami, Colin became a vital part of the Disaster Relief Committee. (AUDIO: A Mother's Son) After Colchester told him about ScrapeJane, he believed in her and was attacked. Ng arrived and saved them both before drugging Colin to neutralise his belief in the monster. (AUDIO: ScrapeJane)

He was trapped in Ritz Tower when it became the city's only source of clean drinking water. He attempted to help Orr, who was suffering from producing the water. (AUDIO: Day Zero) Although Colchester had promised Colin that he would be with him during the end of the world, he was not and was forced to go on the run with the rest of Torchwood without saying goodbye to his husband. (AUDIO: Thoughts and Prayers)

Appearance

When Orr adapted to Mr Colchester’s greatest sexual desires, they took the form of Colin, ten years younger. In Orr's reproduction, Colin was a large, muscular dark-skinned male. (AUDIO: Orr)
