The theatrical Dr Who (unlike the animated character) did bear a faint resemblance to [[William Hartnell]]'s [[First Doctor]], both in appearance and in attire, but the character was a villainous roboticist as opposed to a mostly benevolent time traveller, and it is generally held that the similarities with the BBC character were coincidental. | ||
