Galatine was technology invented by Neil Redmond and created by Artemis. Although its intention was to avoid the killing of innocent people with missiles, the Committee arranged for Redmond to be injured thanks to Dr Sophie Rousseau and to agree to the instalment of NJ. The Committee's plan was for NJ to then sell Galatine to multiple countries, wiping the Earth clean. However, this plan was thwarted by Jack Harkness. (AUDIO: Uncanny Valley)
