The first victim was an Aztec human sacrifice to the Aztec god of rain, Tlaloc. Susan protested and Barbara, impersonating the god Yetaxa, asked the High Priest of Sacrifice, Tlotoxl, to stop.

The victim complained that he was denied honour. Tlotoxl said that he could still have honour if he killed himself. The victim jumped off the side of the temple. (TV: The Aztecs)
