Rakie Ayola (born May 1968[1]) played the hostess in the Doctor Who television story Midnight.
She also voiced Pollia in the Eighth Doctor: Time War audio story The Lords of Terror, and Lambda Epsilon in In the Garden of Death. She also voiced Andrea in One Mile Down.
Outside of Doctor Who, she is perhaps best known for playing Kyla Tyson in Holby City. In 2017, Ayola took over as Hermione Granger in the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
She was busy with Harry Potter around the time that The Eighth Doctor: The Time War 2 was recorded.
