The First Wave was a significant period in human history, in which humanity began to spread to other planets outside of the solar system and establish what would one day evolve into the Earth Empire. The First Wave began sometime before the colonisation of Sunday in 2107 and sometime after Susie Fontana Brooke piloted the first lightspeed ship to Proxima Centauri.
