Star Trek: The Next Generation was a television series which was part of the Star Trek franchise.

Star Trek: The Next Generation had a crossover with Doctor Who in the form of Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation2, a comic mini-series by IDW Publishing. It began publication on 30 May 2012 in North America. It was the first licensed crossover between Doctor Who and the Star Trek franchise.
