Jimmy Olsen was a fictional character who appeared in the Superman comic book series. He was a young reporter working with the Daily Planet.
In an issue of the comic read by the Twelfth Doctor, Jimmy's mother had an appointment with his editor, Perry White, to discuss her disapproval of Jimmy's career choices.
