Notes

• The book is dedicated to Tommy Donbavand.
• The wrap-around cover featured all incarnations of the Doctor and also Adric.
• A story by veteran series writer Gareth Roberts was to be included in the anthology. While BBC Books paid him for his story, Roberts released a personal statement saying that it would not be printed following complaints from fans and authors regarding his transphobic remarks on Twitter in 2017. Susie Day, another author for The Target Storybook, publicly stated: "I raised my concerns, and said if he was in, I was out. I don’t share a platform with bigots."
