The Wastelands were a desolated area on Skaro, caused by the Thousand Year War. The Mutos were exiled there. (TV: Genesis of the Daleks) Davros encountered some Varga plants while crossing the Wastelands and met his old tutor Magrantine, whom he thought was long dead. (AUDIO: Purity)
