Ibuprofen

Ibuprofen was a common painkiller in the 2000s. The Eighth Doctor described it to 1970s locals as "codeine, but better".

Near the start of her travels, Lucie Miller once took an ibuprofen as she was feeling "TARDIS sick" and had developed a tension headache in the Time Vortex. She kept a bottle in her handbag. The Eighth Doctor later recommended giving some to Arnold Korns. (AUDIO: Horror of Glam Rock)

In 2009, Andy Davidson gave Sophie Gould a pack of Ibuprofen when she was suffering from a swollen knee and lacerated feet. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)
