The Dalek Task Force was one of the features original to The Dalek World, a Dalek annual of 1965, which were not so much a story as an informative feature on Dalek society. Although non-narrative (and, as such, not currently considered a valid source by this Wiki), it featured a wealth of information about the Dalek spacecrafts forming the titular Dalek Task Force, expanding the catalogue of Dalek ships far beyond the familiar Dalek flying saucer.

The illustration bears the signature Jennings in the bottom-left corner.

• The Dalek Task Force, the deadliest attack unit in the known universe, includes the Dalek Cleaver, the Task Leader's Solus Combat, the Megallanic Cloud Cruiser, the dual Solar Power Stations, a Dalek Sauce Transporter, three ordinary transolar disks, and the Skaro Screamer.
  • The Dalek Cleaver is a ship capable of hurling itself at anything, including a mountain, and bore its way through with nary any speed loss. It is nicknamed the "cosmic can opener" by Earth space pilots.
  • The Dalek Task Leader is outfitted with the Task Leader's Solus Combat, a hoverbout-esque solo craft with fifty times the firepower of ordinary Dalek weapons.
  • The Megallanic Cloud Cruiser is an advance scout for hidden enemies, designed to explore cosmic cloud zones.
  • The dual ball-shaped Solar Power Stations can be directed at any sun to collect enough power from it to power the entire Dalek attack forces.
  • The Skaro Screamer is a jet-powered all-purposes fighter craft, most feared for its ability to turn the atmosphere of any planet into liquid air which it then uses as fuel.
