The Daleks were typically organised into task-forces, (TV: Genesis of the Daleks, Resurrection of the Daleks, Attack of the Cybermen, Remembrance of the Daleks) led by Taskforce Commanders. (AUDIO: Pretty Lies)
History
The Sixth Doctor recalled that Gustave Lytton was associated with the Dalek Task Force. (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) Indeed, Lytton, acting on behalf of the Supreme Dalek, had led a group of Dalek Troopers on the mission to retrieve Davros from the Prison Station to gain his assistance against the Movellan virus. This latter use echoes the Dalek Task Force from the feature of the same name in The Dalek World.
