Mr Williams was a patient of Dr Rupesh Patanjali who had an alien hitchhiker in his system in 2009. Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones, pretending to be Mr Williams' neighbour, removed the hitchhiker following his death. (TV: Children of Earth: Day One)
