Janet McKay was a midwife and spaywife on the Isle of Hoy in 1956. She looked after the First Doctor when he got separated from Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright. She saved Ian and Barbara when they traipsed though a bog. She called the Doctor "the Wissfornjarl," an ancient protector of Hoy. She was very good at herbal medicine and told the Doctor, Ian and Barbara of the legends of Hoy. She died in 2012. (AUDIO: The Revenants)
