Adam Lang was a human astronaut for the European Space Agency in the early 2020s. He was married to Jake Willis, a Detective Inspector for the police who struggled to believe that someone as impressive as Lang would be interested in him. As a result of this and his dislike of foreign travel, Willis failed to see Adam off and say goodbye when he left for the International Space Station. (TV: Praxeus)
