Lord Lycaon was the first Were Lord, a species of lycanthropic soldiers with the ability to regenerate who were created by the Time Lords of Gallifrey to fight in the Vampire Wars. He and his people deserted the war and settled in Greece on Earth in 1500 BC. From that time, the Were Lords became myths and legends and were worshipped by the early humans. Lycaon was the father of Joseph "Joe" Carnaby and Selene. Lycaon lived secretly among humans on Earth for thousands of years, until the Were Lords revealed themselves in the 59th century, in hopes of helping to avert a planetary disaster. Instead, they were imprisoned and destroyed. (AUDIO: Brightly Shone The Moon That Night)
