Bernard Lodge was the first ever graphic designer for Doctor Who, on TV: "An Unearthly Child", though he went uncredited. Other graphic designers who worked in the classic era included Sid Sutton for the eras of Peter Davison and Colin Baker, and Oliver Elmes for the Sylvester McCoy era.
In the modern era of Doctor Who, the post of graphic designer has largely been filled by Chris Lees in the Matt Smith era, Nina Dunn in the Peter Capaldi era, and Richard Wells in the Jodie Whittaker era.
