Chao was a planet in the Andromeda Galaxy. The planet had forests in which the first part of a device required by the Cult of Shining Darkness was hidden. The Cult visited the planet before their encounter with the Doctor and Donna Noble in orbit of the planet Uhlala. (NSA: Shining Darkness)
