UCF Griffin was the commander of a group of solders working under the Saxon Master's government during the Year That Never Was. He chased Martha Jones around the Earth but he was captured in Japan and made to work in the camps. In the camps he befriended Martha and aided her in defeating the Drast. He was eventually killed by two Toclafane after alerting the Master to the threat of the Drast, resulting in the insane Time Lord destroying Japan in retaliation. (PROSE: The Story of Martha)
