Pazithi bats were a species of bat native to Gallifrey, known for their poor eyesight.

Danna, a Gallifreyan military strategist and mentor to many young Time Lords, taught her student Irving Braxiatel how to shoot down a whole flock of Pazithi bats with a single bullet, all while blindfolded. Many years later when the pair were reunited at the Time Lord research station in the Obscura, Braxiatel compared a seriously injured Dalek who seemed unable to see to a crippled Pazithi bat. (AUDIO: Soldier Obscura)
