Stanley Winters was the principal of Brideport Elementary School in October 1962.
He attended Brideport Elementary School in his early years and was taught by Edith Harcourt.
By 1962, he had become the principle of the school, and on 24 October, he informed Miss Harcourt, who was still teaching at the school, that she was past retirement age and that it would be her final semester at the school.
