The invasion of Romania occurred in during World War II, prior to March 1941. According to Bernice Summerfield's diary, in the chronology of the war, it was followed some time later by the Fall of Tobruk. (PROSE: Just War)
Behind the scenes
- Given that Just War takes place in March 1941, the "invasion of Romania" likely refers to the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and northern Bukovina, which took place in June and July of 1940. In 1944, the Soviets returned and occupied Romania as a whole after a late August offensive.
