Elephant and Castle tube station

Elephant and Castle was a tube station located at the southern terminus of the brown line on the map of the London Underground. It was also located on the black line. On the brown line, the next station when travelling north-west was Lambeth. (PROSE: "London Underground")

Elephant and Castle appeared on a map of the London Underground network at the time of the London Event. (PROSE: "London Underground")

Elephant and Castle tube station was where Miss Quill, Ram Singh, Tanya Adeola and April MacLean met to pay a visit to Alan Turnpike.

It was sometimes mockingly called "Effluent and Castle". (PROSE: The Stone House)

Behind the scenes

The black and brown lines which appear on the map in "London Underground" have yet to be named within the DWU. In the real world they are of course the Northern and Bakerloo lines respectively.
