Victor Podesta was the brother of John and Emmeline Podesta. His family ran a grocery store about ten miles east of Mr Giardano's butcher shop, and they had connections to organised crime and possibly The Families. In 1928, Victor witnessed Jack Harkness getting murdered ruthlessly and then reviving. He wrote a story on the matter, which was published in 1935 under the title The Devil Within. In 1938, the Podesta family disappeared entirely. In 2011, Rex Matheson identified him through his stories. (TV: The Gathering)
