Fortuna was Volkbrood.

Biography

Fortuna and her partner, Cleaver, were employed by the Eleven to capture the Eighth Doctor and take him to the Satanic Mill. To do this, Fortuna and Cleaver had Galileo Galilei record a message for him in the form of a stone record which ended up in the National Museum in 1963.

Fortuna posed as Galileo's deceased daughter, Virginia Galilei, and cared for him whilst waiting for the Doctor, reading to him and giving him a celestial projector. She admonishes Cleaver for feeding on human souls and attracting the attention of the Cosmos Security Service.

After capturing the Doctor, she made contact with the Eleven and had Cleaver prepare the Doctor for transport before the CSS arrived. She encouraged Cleaver to kill the Doctor before fleeing with Helen as a hostage, being shot and arrested by Cavalli 2 outside of her ship. (AUDIO: The Galileo Trap)
