Albrecht was a Time Lord who served as High Tutor at the Time Lord Academy during Theta Sigma's studies there. They were involved in an experiment by Theta Sigma involving a perigosto stick and a temporal feedback loop that resulted in Albrecht's regeneration. After the incident, Theta Sigma appeared before the Academy Board to explain his actions and demonstrate the findings of the experiment. In a letter to Borusa, another tutor of his, he defended his actions and claimed it wasn't as if Albrecht didn't have a few regenerations to spare. (PROSE: The Time Lord Letters)
