A bulldog was a breed of dog from Earth.
Jim Purcell had a bulldog called Bernard. Jim used his dog to intimidate visitors but he seemed very calm towards his owner. In 2011 when his owner was abducted he did not seem to pay attention or care. When his owner reappeared he did not show any change in his behaviour he just licked Jim as Jim hugged him.
