The Companions were genetically-engineered humanoids created by the Panjistri. They had weasel-like features, sharp teeth and thick brown fur. The Panjistri treated them like slaves, using them for menial work and as guide dogs. Fetch, however, was regarded as a trusted confidante by his mistress, the Grand Matriarch.
