Sister Corvin was a member of the Sisters of Plenitude, who ran a hospital on New Earth. After a number of cases of their human lab rats, the Flesh, becoming aware of their surroundings, Sister Corvin wrote a thesis entitled "The Echo of Life", concerning the migration of sentience into the lab rats, which Sister Jatt took a liking to.
