Lieutenant-Colonel Frayling, also referred to as Lieutenant Commander Frayling, was Technical Director to the Imperial Airship Programme. He designed the airship the R101. He couldn't understand Tamworth's modifications to his design. According to the Eighth Doctor everyone aboard the R101 was killed in 1930 when it crashed in France. (AUDIO: Storm Warning)
