Gerrard Lassiter was a human soldier.
He was one of the people who entered the Vvormak ship that was shot down in Turelhampton in 1944. He took part of the Scrying Glass, not knowing what it was, as a souvenir. He was later killed near the end of World War II in a small French town by a Nazi soldier, who took the Glass. (PROSE: The Shadow in the Glass)
