Gokroth was a planet inhabited by genetically modified humans created or restored by the scientist and xenobiologist Dr Maleeva.
The planet was a suitable environment for Dr Maleeva to work in due to the presence of morphic fields.
Gokroth was originally an uninhabited world and because of this, coupled with the presence of the morphic fields, Dr Maleeva chose to rescue and bring the genetically engineered humans here to try and help repair them.
Dr Maleeva and Gor set up a village on the planet that eventually became inhabited by the genetically altered humans whom she saved. These include village chief Trella, her son Wilric, and Porrow.
