James Patterson was a sponsor of the World Book Day Award. (TV: Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart) His work, and that of Clive Cussler, were the kind of books Bill Hunter's message board friends might read—as opposed to "artsy-fartsy European crap", the sort of thing Bill himself would read.
