Date stub.png

The Ashes was a prestigious test cricket match between England and Australia. The Fifth Doctor was at the 1981 series twice — first with Tegan and Turlough and later — but simultaneously — with Peri and Erimem. (PROSE: Graham Dilley Saves the World) "The Ashes" also referred to the trophy awarded to the winning team of this match. This trophy was actually the Wooden Stump of the Wicket Gate. The Fourth Doctor took Romana to Lord's to retrieve it. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Krikkitmen)
